About More 4 Mann

More 4 Mann is a coalition of parents, families, students, K-12 teachers, school administrators, college professors, coaches, labor partners, nonprofit service organizations, businesses and other community members and stakeholders joined together to support academic success of African-American children, youth and young adults.

More than 30 community-based organizations joined together to establish the Africatown Innovation and Education Center. These partners and community members are collectively serving over 500 youth providing vital educational enrichment, vocational and community development programming targeted at interrupting the school to prison pipeline.

This work is informed and guided by a council of accomplished African American educators and professionals. The members of our advisory council have significant experience producing positive outcomes for multicultural students from Pre-K to college.
